......Jane Fuller is a singer-songwriter guitarist from Pasadena, California. She sings jazz standards and contemporary blues with a cool, sensual style and with a solid, straight-ahead, jazz groove. Her vocals surge with sensitive phrasing and tonal nuances. Her songwriting and musical arrangements are a further projection of her talents. Jane has a circle of established jazz musicians that she works with in the Los Angeles area. She frequently accompanies herself with her guitar; expanding the sophisticated harmonic and rhythmic sensitivity, well mated with her singular lyrical style.

......Jane Fuller’s musical education began when she was a young girl. Her close family relationships and father's encouragement fostered her love for the guitar and legitimate musical formats.

......Jane credits her father's love of traditional and folk musical styles as having a powerful effect on her from an early age. During the ensuing years she studied music extensively and explored various styles such as Latin, Rock, Jazz, Blues and Classical. Jane has college degrees from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the University of California at Santa Cruz. She uses this background in her performance techniques and lyric writing. She prefers lyrics that are simple and direct, with strong adherence to traditional song forms. Her influences include Ernestine Anderson, Eva Cassidy, and Diana Krall to name only a very few.

 


 

......Miss Fuller likes to blend traditional and new styles in her repertoire and with her musical arrangements. Her recently released debut CD, “You’re Coming Back Again”, features celebrated jazz and blues standards and three of her original tunes. ppppJane has been performing professionally, at diverse venues, for more than ten years throughout Southern California. She has performed solo as well as with varied jazz ensembles. Recently, she toured as a solo singer-guitarist through northern California, Nevada and Montana. Jane has been interviewed on TV and radio shows. Her music is being played on radio stations and was featured on national television.
